Other external uses of chamomile include topical preparations for the treatment of bruises, scrapes, skin irritations, and joint pain. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile make it a widely used external treatment for acne, arthritis, burns, ulcerated areas of skin, and even diaper rash. The German E Commission, regarded as an authority on herbal treatments, has recommended chamomile to "combat inflammation, stimulate the regeneration of cell tissue, and promote the healing of refractory wounds and skin ulcers." |

You are probably going to think I am nuts but I have to tell you this. I finally got the opportunity on Sunday to fully shower with your soap and have now been using it for 4 days. I heat my home with wood and winter always brings severely dry skin. Even after slathering my legs with lotion every morning and night I still find my legs itch terribly. After 4 days of using your soap, my legs are no longer itching. The ashy look I usually have on my legs in the winter is gone and I have to attribute this to your soap as that is the only change I have made.

I just want to share some positive feedback with you regarding your product. My skin is VERY sensitive! I can not use soap from the regular grocery store or even from some health food stores. It seems like if there is one unnatural ingredient in a soap, my body knows and it is not pleased. So I tried your lovely Rose-Geranium soap. Not only do I love it but my skin does too! I was VERY reluctant to try it because of previous experience with products that are supposed to be 'natural.' Your staff assured me that your stuff is the real deal though so, I gave it a try. I'm glad I did!

Goat milk is most often used for super-fatting a soap. Super-fatted soaps contain a small percentage of oil in the soap. Goat milk soap has a very smooth, rich moisturizing feel to it. Many people use goat milk soap because they feel it enriches their skin. We take one of our vegetable soap bases and add food grade goat milk.

Our goat milk is made with Cocoa Butter, Babassu, Palm kernel, Coconut, Soybean oils and Goat milk of course. We offer it unscented as well as scented. Also check out our green tea soap as it uses the same great base. Goatmilk contains sugars. These tend to carmalize somewhat during the soap making process. This gives the bar an off white, sometimes golden light brown color. There is also a potential for what some people describe as a honey or cookie like scent. The bar is unscented and then they are smelling is the carmalized sugars from the goatmilk! Soap Alchemy does not mask the natural scent of the ingredients. |
