superfatting (soo-per-fat-ing): adj.
Leaving some of the oils and fats in the finished soap producing an emollient soap bar. goat milk (gohtmilk): noun
Milk from the doe or female goat, In soap making, it is used for super-fatting soap which creates a more emollient bar and creamy lather. Goat milk contains 13% more calcium, 25% more vitamin B-6, 47% more vitamin A, 34% more potassium, 350% more niacin, and 27% more selenium than cow milk. A composite plant, Chamaemelium nobile (or Anthemis nobilis), native to the Old World, having strongly scented foliage and white ray flowers with yellow centers used medicinally and as a tea.The external uses of chamomile include blending its essential oil with lavender or rose for scenting perfumes, candles, creams, or other aromatherapy products intended to calm or relax the user.
Other external uses of chamomile include topical preparations for the treatment of bruises, scrapes, skin irritations, and joint pain. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile make it a widely used external treatment for acne, arthritis, burns, ulcerated areas of skin, and even diaper rash. The German E Commission, regarded as an authority on herbal treatments, has recommended chamomile to "combat inflammation, stimulate the regeneration of cell tissue, and promote the healing of refractory wounds and skin ulcers." |

I have been loving your soap since I started using it about two weeks ago. Every winter for the past few years, I've had a patch of sorta dry skin on my arm. It's not flaky or itchy and I can only feel it when I pass my hand over it so I don't think about it much. Occasionally I've tried putting some ...lotion on it. The other day I noticed that since I've been using soap from Alchemy exclusively, that area on my arm is no longer feeling dry. I'm very impressed!
I love, love, love the lavender soap and, oh yes, the spearmint, too. Now I'm looking forward to opening a bar of Vanilla Oatmeal.Mokena Janice H. Chicago IL 2010-02-05
Hello, I have tried your soap and I love it. My favorite so far is the Avocado Spearmint. I was really having a bad day and when I went to the shower with a fresh bar, it was like aromatherapy. I totally relaxed and allowed the alchemist's creation to sooth me. I especially enjoy the texture of the soap; great lather, soft feel (it doesn't break apart like commercial soap), long lasting (thanks for the wooden soap cradle.) I have also cracked open a bar of the citrus soap; very nice overall, but the Avocado Spearmint is still my favorite at the moment. Thanks, know that your endeavors are appreciated. Ryan S.
