The juice from the fruit is rich in vitamins A and B. superfatting ((soo-per-fat-ing)): adj. Leaving some of the oils and fats in the finished soap producing an emollient soap bar. goat milk ((gohtmilk)): noun Milk from the doe or female goat, In soap making, it is used for super-fatting soap which creates a more emollient bar and creamy lather. Goat milk contains 13% more calcium, 25% more vitamin B-6, 47% more vitamin A, 34% more potassium, 350% more niacin, and 27% more selenium than cow milk. Goat milk is also higher in chloride, copper, and manganese. The milk is naturally homogenized since it lacks the protein agglutinin. The curd is much smaller. The milk also has a more similar makeup (percentage of fats, etc.) to human milk than cows milk. |

I had heard that handmade soap was good for your skin but had no idea. I was tired of using the standard body washes and then covering my body with lotion. It was a huge procedure everyday just to get showered. Then I used the olive oil soap. I was amazing. I had to work that year in Chicago, living out of a hotel, during the winter period, for 7 months. Knowing how my skin was, I was concerned, but amazingly my skin was fine, clean, smooth, soft and good feeling inspite of the dry hotel air and the winter chill of Chicago. I am hooked. I use your soap for my body, face, hands and my hair. Keep up the good job!!

Goat Milk Soap
Goat milk is most often used for super-fatting a soap. Super-fatted soaps contain a small percentage of oil in the soap. Goat milk soap has a very smooth, rich moisturizing feel to it. Many people use goat milk soap because they feel it enriches their skin. We take one of our vegetable soap bases and add food grade goat milk.

Our goat milk is made with Cocoa Butter, Babassu, Palm kernel, Coconut, Soybean oils and Goat milk of course. We offer it unscented as well as scented. Also check out our green tea soap as it uses the same great base. Goatmilk contains sugars. These tend to carmalize somewhat during the soap making process. This gives the bar an off white, sometimes golden light brown color. There is also a potential for what some people describe as a honey or cookie like scent. The bar is unscented and then they are smelling is the carmalized sugars from the goatmilk! Soap Alchemy does not mask the natural scent of the ingredients. |
